The InfraRed Analyst and Associate Development Programme is designed to support our talented employees in reaching their full potential. The programme builds on raw analytical abilities and basic commercial knowledge to provide the skills and industry experience to become confident investment executives and team leaders.
All participants take responsibility in a variety of roles covering business development, deal origination and underwriting, and portfolio and asset management across our Global Infrastructure and Real Estate divisions.

- A wide range of investment management activities in infrastructure and real estate, across global geographies and specialist market sub-sectors.
- In-house ownership of key investment management disciplines: transaction origination and underwriting, portfolio and asset management, investment structuring and financing, fund management and investor relations.
- An established Human Resources team that has developed an inclusive and creative environment shaped by our values, cultivating and retaining talent through staff development, training and appraisal.
An individual approach to success
Personal development plans incorporate regular benchmarking and an appraisal process with line managers and peers. The idea is to build confidence by complimenting existing knowledge and abilities with new skills and experience that enhance career opportunities.
On the job guidance and performance feedback includes mentoring from both peers and team leaders. They help to identify areas of strength, opportunities for development, and the best ways to leverage industry expertise and contacts.
Participants are also able to take advantage of the full breadth of the InfraRed business. A rotation programme provides 6 - 9 month placements in specialist areas of investment management, together with the opportunity to work in different jurisdictions and industry sub-sectors.
Training seminars on selected topics aim to develop core skills and technical expertise through knowledge sharing with in-house experts, external advisers and professional trainers.
Finally, the Analyst and Associates pool represents a group of like-minded, enthusiastic employees who actively participate in the Development Programme, set expectations and share experiences. Outstanding individuals may be offered the opportunity and support to undertake professional qualifications, including Business Masters’ degrees.
