Alex is responsible for leading the development and implementation of risk management initiatives to manage the merchant power price risk of energy generation and storage assets within the funds managed by InfraRed.
His primary responsibilities include the development and maintenance of a revenue risk management policy, implementing and managing third party agreements, as well as continuously monitoring market conditions to ensure optimal performance.
Before joining InfraRed in 2022, he was a core member of EON’s UK trading team, where he held a number of hedging, risk management, analytics, and origination roles. He has more than 13 years’ experience in the energy industry.
