Ernesto joined InfraRed in October 2018.
His current focus is on the asset management of energy portfolio in Americas, specifically in Mexico, where InfraRed has equity interests in the solar PV projects and a Combined-Cycle Power Plant, with a total generation capacity of c. 1,100MW.
Prior to InfraRed, Ernesto held multiple executive positions within AEI Energy Services where he was responsible for the operations in the Caribbean, Central and South America. The most recent positions include President and CEO of a $US1.2bn Enron/Shell Oil gas and oil pipeline company in South America. Before that, Ernesto was VP of Enron International with P&L responsibility in various assets in South America and the Caribbean.
Ernesto is a Bachelor of Science in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A & M University and is a registered member of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
