Sébastien Pochon



Sébastien joined InfraRed in 2003.

Sebastien is one of the lead members of the new primary infrastructure fund where he is working on fundraising, strategy and origination. He relocated to London in August 2016, after nearly four years in Sydney where he set up InfraRed’s office and headed the team responsible for originating new infrastructure in Australasia for the various funds managed by InfraRed.

From Sydney, Sebastien led the business development activities and InfraRed’s participation in public private partnership procurement processes primarily in Australia and New Zealand. The team was successful in securing a number of transactions including more recently the Transmission Gully road project in New Zealand.

Before joining InfraRed Sébastien spent seven years in the Bouygues Group project finance team, at the outset in Hong Kong pursuing projects in South-East Asia and Australia and then in the UK. Sébastien has over 10 years’ experience working on the global infrastructure development sector from both industrial and equity perspectives. Successful projects that Sébastien has worked on or led include the Transmission Gully project, the New Royal Adelaide Hospital, West Middlesex Hospital, Central Manchester Hospital and Broomfield Hospital.

Sébastien graduated from the Ecole Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur in Paris.
