Kate McKeon

Director

As Head of Sustainability, Kate is responsible for the development and implementation of InfraRed’s sustainability strategy and programme.

Kate works closely with the Investment, Asset Management and Portfolio Management teams to evaluate sustainability risks and opportunities in the investment decision-making process and improve the sustainability performance of InfraRed’s assets under management. She is also responsible for managing sustainability elements of InfraRed’s corporate functions, including training, reporting, accreditations and supporting community engagement initiatives.

Prior to this, Kate was a member of InfraRed’s Investment team, where she was responsible for originating and executing social, transport and energy projects, in the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.

Before joining InfraRed in 2016, Kate spent four years at Balfour Beatty Investments where she was involved in developing greenfield accommodation, education, transport and energy transactions in Australia and the United Kingdom. Additionally, Kate has also worked in strategic consulting at Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP) and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
