Alex Thorne is a Director in InfraRed Capital Partners’ Asset Management team, based in London. He is responsible for the oversight and long term performance of UK critical infrastructure assets, with a focus on healthcare, education, and energy projects delivered under PPP and concession structures.
Alex brings extensive experience overseeing complex, multi party infrastructure assets, working closely with public sector clients and commercial counterparties. His responsibilities centre on asset performance, lifecycle and capex strategy, and governance, with a strong emphasis on partnership working and long term sustainability.
Alongside his professional role, Alex is an active volunteer for the InfraRed Charitable Foundation and chairs the InfraRed Community Engagement Committee, supporting initiatives that deliver positive social impact, particularly for vulnerable and under privileged children.
