Ernesto is responsible for managing InfraRed’s American assets, with a particular focus on fibre assets, playing an important role in the firm’s value-add strategies. Ernesto has also held director positions within the portfolio companies of various InfraRed value-add funds, including LiveOak Fiber.
Ernesto relocated from the London office in 2018, where he previously supported origination and execution activities.
Prior to joining InfraRed in 2015, Ernesto was Vice President in the Corporate Lending and Structured Finance team at Banco de Credito e Inversiones, Santiago, Chile. Additionally, he has also worked as an Associate in the M&A team at KPMG in Madrid, as well as an M&A analyst for both Lazards and Lehman Brothers investment banks in Madrid and London.
During his career, Ernesto has gained over 13 years of experience in infrastructure. He holds an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from E.T.S.I ICAI and an MBA from IESE Business School.
