James’ primary responsibilities include being the equity nominated director for a portfolio of project companies across a variety of sectors including healthcare, Ministry of Defence (MoD), offshore electricity transmission (OFTO), and education.
Before joining InfraRed in 2019, James worked as a consultant for a year providing services to infrastructure projects, focussing on asset management and operational performance. Prior to that, he worked at John Laing Investments for 13 years in various roles across asset management and business development. He has experience of bidding for, delivering and managing complex infrastructure projects across the infrastructure asset class.
James has over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, starting his career at Barclays where he provided project finance to infrastructure projects. James is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
