Martin Golding

Martin is responsible for managing InfraRed’s operational risks.

His primary responsibilities include maintaining and developing the Operational Risk and Internal Control framework, as part of InfraRed’s second line of defence. Working with colleagues across the business, Martin and his team identify, assess, and mitigate risk through a robust system of processes and controls. He is also responsible for oversight of business continuity planning and third-party risk management.

Martin has more than 20 years of experience in risk management. Before joining InfraRed in 2022, he held positions in risk management and operational due diligence for a number of investment management firms across private and public markets, including AXA Investment Managers, GAM, Alcentra, Pantheon Ventures, ICM Investment Managers and more recently Nikko Asset Management Europe. He holds an Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK, and he is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
