Rita Nethercot

Rita is responsible for all legal matters concerning InfraRed, and also oversees the Compliance, Risk and Governance functions.

Rita’s primary responsibility is to act as a trusted advisor to the senior management at InfraRed on a broad range of legal, compliance, regulatory, governance and reputational matters.

Before joining InfraRed in January 2024, Rita was a partner and the Group General Counsel of Selwood Asset Management, a boutique hedge fund based in London and Paris. Her earlier experiences included holding senior legal roles in JPMorgan Asset Management and Ignis Asset Management (now part of Standard Life / Abrdn).

Rita has more than 19 years of experience working as a lawyer in the asset management sector. Her legal expertise lies within alternative and retail fund structuring, regulatory, and general asset management matters. She is admitted as a qualified solicitor in the United Kingdom, having qualified at Ashurst LLP.
