InfraRed Capital Partners – Strong ESG performance by InfraRed in PRI’s Assessment 2016

4 April 2019 Corporate
InfraRed Capital Partners  (InfraRed) is pleased to advise that in its 2016 assessment by Principles for Responsible Investment (“PRI”) InfraRed has maintained its Overall and Real Estate scores of ‘A’ and its Infrastructure score at the highest possible ‘A+’ level. These scores compare very favourably with its peer group whose median scores were ‘B’ Overall, ‘C’ for Real Estate and ‘B’ for Infrastructure.

For the last three years, InfraRed has been reporting its ESG activities to the PRI not only in respect of the business as a whole, but also specifically for the Infrastructure and Real Estate businesses.  The latest Assessment Report by PRI (available to view here), states that InfraRed has maintained its absolute scores this year, which can be seen on page 7 of the report, while page 6 shows InfraRed’s favourable scores compared to the peer group medians.

InfraRed’s takes ESG seriously and its policy is underpinned by adoption of, and compliance with, PRI to which the company has been a signatory since 2011. These principles provide a voluntary framework to help institutional investors incorporate environmental, social and corporate governance issues into investment analysis, decision-making and ownership practices.  InfraRed’s 2016 Responsible Investment Transparency Report is also available to view here.
