Straka joins from DWS Group (“DWS”) where he has led the global Infrastructure Sales & Investor Relations team for the last 10 years and had responsibility for raising, structuring and procurement of fund and co-investment capital. Prior to this, he held other senior positions in Deutsche including Head of Business Development for DWS Investments.
Straka will take responsibility for InfraRed’s current investor base and ongoing fundraising efforts for new investment vehicles, leading the teams in Investor Relations and Capital Raising, and building a network of partnerships with both existing and new investors across the InfraRed investment suite.
InfraRed is a focused infrastructure investment business, with the objective of providing long-term, predictable income streams for investors, across both core and energy infrastructure. This new appointment plays a key role in developing a strengthened, integrated global fundraising and investor relations strategy that supports InfraRed’s long-term objectives.
Straka is expected to join in January 2022 as a Partner and reports into Chief Executive Officer, Werner von Guionneau, reflecting the seniority and strategic importance of this new role.
