InfraRed Capital Partners acquires distribution units in Germany and the UK for its growing industrial portfolio

InfraRed Capital Partners Limited has exchanged on the purchase of a 164,000 sqft unit in Magna Park, Lutterworth (East Midlands), considered by InfraRed to be one of the best distribution parks in the UK. In Germany, the business recently acquired two units with combined 300,000 sqft based in Munich-Unterschleissheim and Hamburg-Allermoehe from international real estate company Redevco.

The above transactions were carried out by InfraRed’s European Real Estate Team and form part of the team’s strategy to systematically build portfolios of well-located logistics assets in the UK and Germany.

Including these acquisitions, InfraRed has acquired over 2.3m sqft of industrial units since October 2010. Other investments include the 150,000 sqft distribution unit in Hamburg, Billbrook, the 212,000 sqft GIST unit on Swift Valley Park, Rugby, the 164,000 sqft Scotts unit at West Moor Park, Doncaster and the 382,000 sqft DHL unit at J31 of the M62 in Normanton. In January 2011 InfraRed commenced the development funding of the 1m sqft. Amazon distribution unit in Dunfermline, Scotland.
